Provenance
Taken over in 1939 from the Hofärar holdings of paintings at the Hermes Villa into the Gemäldegalerie (7/GG/1939). According to the inventory, salvaged from the Ministry of Finance on 15.5.1944; not found in the 1949 general inventory (45/GG/1949); lost during the war (9/GG/1991, 9/GG/1992).
